Everyone was ready to go and in their places by 830 am. We had a 4 hour trip ahead of us but we first had to go into Flagstaff to pick up the rest of the AC parts. Unfortunately, the parts where not there when we got there so we had to wait for 2 hours till UPS delivered them. At 1130 we were back on the road and made a quick stop at Walmart. As we were pulling out we noticed a Motorhome covered in solar panels. They were on every side window and on the roof. CRAZY!!!
The ride was a nice one not too much traffic and as we started to get close to Monument Valley the terrain started to really change. We could see the monuments off in a distant and they got larger as we approached. We arrived around 5 pm so we didn't have time to explore but we did go to find a nice place to watch the sunset. Tomorrow we are already setup to take an 8 hour tour to Mystery Valley and to see the monuments in Monument Valley.
