July 16, 2015-Travel day to Fall City, WA

Today we are traveling to Tall Chief RV Resort, Fall City, WA which is fairly close to Seattle. I want to go to the famous Pike Place Fish Market. It is the oldest operating farmers’ market founded in 1907. They are well known for their fishmongers who toss fish to one another or to buying customers. It is also the place where the first Starbucks began. I am pretty sure Jeff is going to get a coffee.

We left at 8 am and we didn’t get but maybe 20 minutes into our trip when our RV started to buck like we were riding a bull. So we pull over and Mike checks out some things and couldn’t find anything so we started up again. As we traveled through the mountains it seemed to behave ok but not at 100 per cent. Mike just wanted to get us to the campground then check on a few things. We did make it to the campground without any more delays but Mike was a little concerned as to what could be wrong.

The campground is nice and quiet and everyone is tucked in trees on both sides. Plenty of room and the sites are pretty level. They only have electric and water but this is just a quick stop just to go and see the Fish Market. We ate lunch and we all decided to go into Tacoma.

Our first stop was the pet store where we picked up our specialized food for our cats, next we went to Freightliner and got some fuel filters and another part. We are hoping that the fuel filter is the issue. Then the next stop was Sam’s Club. This is always so much fun. Sometimes I do miss the big city stores. We made a quick dinner and the boys changed the fuel filter. The filter was almost blocked with gook and trash. I am glad that was the problem. We have noticed that are mileages were down a bit and we just thought that it was the mountains so we will see on our next leg of the trip.
