Saturday, July 18, 2015 Travel Day on way to West
Yellowstone
We left at the time we had agreed on which was 7 am. As soon as we got on the road our motor home
started to spit and sputter as it did before but we continued. Going west in Washington the terrain started out
with the mountains and it seemed that when we got to the top everything leveled
out. Mike decided that he was going to
change out the fuel filter again thinking that some more trash was in it. So after about three hours we stopped. It was a pretty good place to stop because up
on the cliff were 15 metal horses in different poses. Well no trash in the filter. Mike is baffled
so we called Freightliner in Spokane to see if we could get in there. About 60 miles from Spokane the motor home
started to purr like a kitten. So we
cancelled our appointment. We made it
into Idaho just 29 miles past the Freightliner place and as we exited the I-90 to get fuel the motor home stalled
and wouldn’t start. We were at the bottom of the exit ramp behind Jeff and Amy and when the light turned green they turned left and headed to the Flying J but we were stuck. So we had to call
the tow truck to take us to the repair shop.
We are now sitting in their parking lot to be seen at 7am tomorrow
morning. I just hope it is nothing
serious.
Amy and Jeff stopped at a Walmart for the night so we went
over, had dinner and said our goodbyes just in case we don’t make it to Yellowstone.
Today was not a very good day and let’s hope that tomorrow
will be better.
