Tuesday, July 30, 2015 Hanging around the campsite, boys went fishing
Happy Birthday to my best friend Nancy. Nancy and I have been friends for over 45
years. We met just after we got out of
high school. We shared having 2
daughters together and have remained friends over the years even though I have
left our hometown of Pittsfield , MA. Hope
you had a wonderful day.
Today the boys were up and out the door at 6am to see if
they could catch some fresh fish. Amy
slept in little and I did some more laundry and cleaning. I did manage a walk around the park and along
the Rogue River. I also took a trip into
town to get some fruit. The boys were
back at 11 and they had a few bites but no fish wanted to be dinner tonight so
it was going to be hamburgers. We have
been seeing these jet boats filled with people go by so we called because there
were a lot of these boats racing by. It
turns out that this is a popular thing.
They offer a brunch, lunch, dinner or just a ride up to Hellgate Canyon. We agreed to do the dinner cruise which is 4
hours. It comes with the boat ride
through the canyon and dinner. Amy and
I want to see the canyon. Well we have spent
the night in a new state so we get to put another state on the map. Correction the last time I posted about
putting states on the map I said we were able to put 4 on and we did but my
photo said we put up 3. The total now is
5 new states.
